Yoga Classes

Current class information.

CURRENT INFO AS OF 09/28/2022:

Please contact me at krothboeck@hotmail.com if you would like more information about the schedule/cost for current Zoom sessions.

A free, 45-minute Zoom class for seated yoga is available at 10 a.m. on Tuesday mornings. E-mail me at the address listed above to get on the list so I may send you a Zoom invitation.

Enjoy a hatha yoga course that consists of centering, breath work, poses and relaxation on Monday and Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. Classes are one hour long. The current session for January and February of 2023 costs $60. E-mail or call me (360-929-2026) for payment instructions.

Monday/Friday class is for level I/II students who have some yoga experience and can do seated, standing, kneeling and lying-down poses.
Tuesday class is seated yoga. Most poses are done while seated in a chair, although occasional standing poses are also presented.

Would you like to do yoga three times a week? It's fine to pay for the Monday/Friday class and also attend the free Tuesday sessions.

If you have not done yoga before, been away from it for quite a while, or if you have very specific things you're interested in working on, you might prefer private lessons. Please contact me to arrange these. Cost is $65 for a one-hour class or $180 for three one-hour classes.

CLASS LOCATION:
Currently available via Zoom only.

Studio Guidelines

  • Remove shoes at the door; we practice in bare feet or non-skid socks.
  • Please leave your cell phone in your car.
  • Try to avoid eating anything other than a light snack for at least two hours before practice. It's fine to bring a water bottle to class.
  • Arrive early to class. Entering class late is disruptive to the teacher and the students.
  • Bring a mat with you.
  • Wear clothes that are comfortable to exercise in.
  • The studio is scent-free. Avoid perfume, lotions or essential oils.
  • Notify the instructor of any chronic or newly occurring health problems. Not every pose is appropriate for everyone, but modifications are always available.
  • Treat your body with respect. Do not worry about what other students are doing. Do not worry about what you can or cannot do. Yoga is not a competitive sport.
  • Plan to stay through the entire class. If, due to some unusual circumstance, you need to leave before the end of a session, notify me in advance and I will provide a cue for your early departure.
